The Season For Buying and Selling is Upon Us!

Spring is just around the corner!  Real estate inventory in Utah is lower than its been in years!  Home values are going up, interest rates are still extremely low but inching their way up slightly, and the Utah economy as a whole is strong!  Whether you are thinking about buying or selling a home, this is a very exciting time in real estate.  For Home Sellers, there's no more worrying about your home sitting on the market for months and months and dropping the price to uncomfortable lows to get it sold.  With a good marketing approach homes are selling, often times with multiple offers!  Buyers in this market need to have a little bit of patience.  Good homes go quickly so you need to be ready and act quickly.  It generally is taking my clients a week or 2 to get a feel for the current market and just how hot it is right now.  You may have to make offers on a few different homes before you get the right one, but if you're patient I can assure you, the perfect home for you and your family is out there just waiting for you to find it.
A strong Utah Real Estate Market is back and I am extremely optimistic that it will continue to improve.  We are seeing less and less short sales and foreclosures, people are beginning to get out from under their homes that they were previously underwater in, the outlook in Utah is a positive one.  I can honestly say there isn't a state or place I would rather live and do business!
